Nitrous Factory

The Nitrous Factory is a rentable factory property in CIT. It is shown in the property panel as a Conversion Business.

It converts several input resources into Nitrous. The in-game description says Nitrous Factories are responsible for CITizens' supply of Nitrous for their vehicles.

The in-game description also says demand of Chemicals and Oil is always high.

SF Nitrous Factory - Doherty
LS Nitrous Factory - Ocean Docks

Factories were re-enabled in /gps, so players can use the factory category to find them in game.

How To Find Your Factory

If you already rent a Nitrous Factory, press B, open My Properties, and double-click the rented factory to mark it with a floppy disk blip.

If you only want to browse Nitrous Factory locations, use /gps > Factories.

How The Factory Panel Works

The factory GUI includes:

a Goods in your inventory panel
a Goods currently invested in this business panel
arrow buttons to add resources to the business or take them back
a field labeled Insert amount of resources to move

Use the amount field together with the arrow buttons to move resources between your inventory and the factory.

What Nitrous Is Used For

Nitrous can be:

sold on F7
used in F9 crafting

It is also used for the Jetpack, and the Jetpack will not work without Nitrous.

It can also be used for vehicle speed.
