Password Recovery in CIT

If you forget your password in CIT, you can follow these steps to recover your account and regain access to your profile.


Step 1: Recover Your Password via E-mail

  1. Disconnect and Reconnect:
    • The first thing you should do is disconnect from the server and then reconnect or just type /reconnect
  2. Click on "Forgot my Password":
    • After reconnecting, click on the "Forgot my Password" option.
  3. Enter Your E-mail:
    • You will need to provide the e-mail address you used when registering your account.
    • If you didn't use an e-mail during registration, proceed to Step 2.
  4. Check Your E-mail:
    • After entering your e-mail, wait 5-10 minutes for a message to arrive in your inbox.
    • The message will contain a code sent by the Community of Integrity and Transparency.
  5. Use the Code:
    • Enter the code from the e-mail to recover your password and regain access to your account.

Step 2: Recover Password Without E-mail

If you did not register with an e-mail, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Account Retrieval Board:
  2. Create a New Topic:
  3. Wait for Staff Assistance:
    • After creating the topic, wait for a staff member to respond.
    • This may take 3-4 days depending on staff availability.

Important Notes

  • Never Share Your Password:
    • It is essential to never share your password with anyone.
    • If someone gains access to your account due to you sharing your password, it will be your responsibility. Always keep your account secure.
