Maps can use different vehicles and checkpoint totals. The start message identifies the map and drivetrain. Racer has more than 100 maps and vehicles. Reaching 0% vehicle health or leaving the race vehicle causes disqualification.
Map ratings run from 1 - Terrible to 5 - Great and affect how often a map appears. Race Rating Requirement skips ratings lower than the selected setting.
