What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Installation task failed.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

1. Repair your MTA installation

   Run the current installer from multitheftauto.com over your existing installation. It replaces MTA's own files without touching your settings.

2. Run the installer as administrator

   Right click the MTA installer and choose Run as administrator, so it can write to its own folder.
