What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Missing MTA data.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

Longer version, with a source on every step: MTA data files or core.dll are missing.

1. Repair your MTA installation

   Run the current installer from multitheftauto.com over your existing installation. It replaces MTA's own files without touching your settings.

2. Check your security software

   Some security tools remove MTA files. If yours quarantined something, restore it and add an exception for the MTA folder.
