MTA data files or core.dll are missing

Repair the MTA installation as a complete set of files.

Steps

Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.

1. Close MTA before repairing it

   Exit the launcher and game so the installer can replace MTA files.

2. Run the complete official installer

   Download the current MTA installer from the official site and install its client into the MTA installation you intend to use. Do not download core.dll separately.

3. Open the repaired installation

   Use its launcher and retry. If the same file goes missing again, check whether your security product names that file in its notifications, and report the exact missing filename to MTA support.

   Careful: A missing file does not establish why it disappeared. Do not restore an unverified quarantined file.
