MTA:SA fix
D3DX9 DLL is missing
GTA can need legacy DirectX components even when Windows already has a newer DirectX version.
d3dx9_43.dll was not found
Steps
Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.
Get Microsoft’s legacy runtime installer
Open the Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer page linked here. It supplies older side-by-side components used by games.
Complete the Microsoft installation
Close the game, run Microsoft’s installer and let it finish. Follow any restart request.
Careful: Do not obtain the named DLL from a third-party DLL site.
Retry the same launch
Start MTA again. If another DLL is named, keep its exact filename; a Visual C++ DLL belongs to the separate runtime guide.
This adds optional legacy libraries. It does not replace the DirectX version built into Windows.
