What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as gta_sa.exe absent.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

Longer version, with a source on every step: GTA executable or a required GTA file is missing.

1. Point MTA at the right folder

   The folder must contain gta_sa.exe. If it does not, reinstall GTA and choose that folder.

2. Use a clean GTA: San Andreas

   MTA needs an unmodified GTA installation. If mods, an ASI loader or a replaced gta_sa.exe are in the game folder, reinstall GTA into a fresh folder and let MTA use that copy.
