Chatbox or a chat channel is missing

If the whole chatbox is gone, type showchat in F8. If only one channel is missing, turn on just that channel in J.

Steps

1. Bring back the whole chatbox

   Only if the whole chatbox is hidden, press F8, type showchat and press Enter, then close F8. This command switches the chat between hidden and shown.

2. Show the missing channel

   Only if other chat is visible but one channel is missing.

   Press J and select that channel. Turn on Show in chatbox if it is off.

3. Turn on Team Chat if messages cannot be sent

   Only if Team Chat is disabled and you want to use it.

   Find Team Chat in /settings and enable it. Hiding Team Chat from the chatbox still leaves it available in J. Disabling it stops messages being sent.

Other problems like this

• No sound, or sound disappears at low FPS
• Job or trucking containers are missing
• Minimap missing or black
• Custom radar picture does not appear
• Radar icons are in the wrong position
• Houses, factories or other map markers are missing
