Hydra, tow truck or forklift keys do not work (no numpad)

You cannot switch the Hydra's flight mode, or move a tow truck hook or forklift forks. These use NUMPAD 8 and NUMPAD 2 by default, so on a keyboard without a numpad set other keys in ESC > Settings > Binds.

Steps

1. Hydra flight mode

   Only in a Hydra.

   Hold NUMPAD 8 to switch to forward flight. When it has switched, let go and hold W to fly forward. Hold NUMPAD 2 to go back to vertical (landing) mode.

2. Hydra landing gear

   Only for the Hydra's landing gear.

   Press 2 to raise the landing gear and 2 again to lower it. + also works. In MTA's Binds tab this control is called Sub-mission.

3. Tow truck hook and forklift forks

   Only in a tow truck or a forklift.

   In the tow truck, Num 8 lowers the hook and Num 2 lifts it. The forklift's forks also use Num 2 and Num 8.

4. No numpad: choose other keys

   Only if your keyboard has no numpad, or you want other keys.

   Press ESC, open Settings, then the Binds tab. The Hydra flight mode, the tow truck hook and the forklift use Special control up (NUMPAD 8) and Special control down (NUMPAD 2). Find the control and set a new Key or Alt. Key. For the landing gear, change Sub-mission.
