I cannot recover my vehicle

Recover in F2 or /recover does nothing, or the game shows a recover error. Wait 3 seconds between recovers, and check that you are not in a place that blocks recovery.

Steps

1. Wait a few seconds between recovers

   You can recover once every 3 seconds, and at most 10 times every 60 seconds. Failed recovers do not count toward the 10 times.

2. Select the vehicle in F2 first

   Only if you use /recover.

   /recover recovers the vehicle that is selected in F2. Open F2 and double-click the vehicle you want to select it. If nothing is selected, /recover takes the top vehicle of your F2 list.

3. Move away from an Armed Robbery

   Vehicle recovery is blocked within 40 units of an Armed Robbery.

4. Leave the LS car show area

   Only if you are in the LS car show area.

   Vehicle recovery does not work while you are there.

5. Go outside the building

   Only if you are inside an open interior.

   Inside open interiors you cannot recover or drive vehicles, except motorbikes. Vehicles are placed outside the buildings.

6. Recover large planes at an airport

   Only for a large plane.

   Large planes can only be recovered at airports.
