CIT fix
My own shader stays visible after I disable custom textures
This is on purpose. Your own textures stay visible, so there is nothing to fix.
Steps
See whose texture it is
If it is your own skin, clothing or vehicle texture, it stays visible even when the matching custom-texture option is disabled. That is normal and needs no fix.
Hide another player’s texture
Only if the texture belongs to another player and you want to hide it.
Type /settings and find the matching option: Custom Player Skins, Custom Vehicle Skins or Custom Clothing. Disable only the option for the content you want hidden.
Worth knowing
These options cannot fully test a problem caused by your own shader.
Other problems like this
- The wrong character appears instead of my selected skin
- A large skin is partly invisible
- Could not draw vehicle reflection shader
- A CIT setting does not save or apply
- A CIT shortcut key stopped working
- F11 map key or another MTA control is unbound
