Clothing Stores

Clothing Stores are the skin change shops in CIT. They are used to change your character skin by entering the blue marker inside the store and pressing Z.

How to find clothing stores

Store use

CJ clothing items are priced individually. Buying an item again costs its full price again, even on a later day.

Clothing Stores are used for:

changing your character skin
browsing the in game skin list available through the store marker

They are one of the main appearance change locations in CIT.

How Clothing Stores work

To change your skin at a Clothing Store:

go to a clothing store
step into the blue marker
press Z
select a skin and choose Have

This opens the skin changing system for that store.

What you can do there

To change CJ clothes, use the CJ skin and enter the red marker inside the shop. Law players press Z in that marker. In Outfits, use Save outfit and Load outfit for owned slots. Buy an Outfit Slot from AI Trader in F7 for $50,000; the purchase is non-refundable. See Changing CJ's Appearance.

Store Notes

Clothing Stores are for skin changing.
The store interaction is done through the blue marker and Z.
The map icon for Clothing Stores is a T-shirt.
If you have VIP hours, /vipskin is an additional way to change skins.

Law player use

Law players also press Z at a clothing marker to open the skin selection.

Choosing another character skin

Enter the blue clothing store marker and press Z. Select a skin and click Have. With VIP hours, /vipskin or X on yourself, then VIP Skin, also opens skin selection. Toggling a texture in /customskin is separate from changing the character skin.
