Defuse the Bomb Mission
Defuse the Bomb Mission is the active mission used in the `Bomb Disposal` police job in CIT. It sends you to bomb locations, where you must clear the area and solve the bomb puzzle before time runs out.
Overview
This mission is part of:
- `Bomb Disposal`
The mission flow is:
- mark the bomb route
- go to the bomb location
- clear the nearby criminals
- open and solve the bomb puzzle
- finish before the timer ends
If the bomb is successfully defused:
- you earn explosives
- you earn law points
How to start the mission
While on `Bomb Disposal`, use:
N
This marks the bomb route.
After that:
- go to the skull blip
Mission objective
At the bomb location, you must:
- kill the nearby criminals first
- solve the bomb puzzle before time runs out
You cannot defuse the bomb while enemies are still alive nearby.
Bomb puzzle
The bomb puzzle is solved by:
- turning black spaces white
- connecting the same-colored roads
This must be completed:
- before the timer runs out
Cancelling the mission
If you feel stressed during the puzzle:
- press `Cancel`
This aborts the mission safely.
Failure conditions
The mission fails if:
- you do not finish in time
If that happens:
- the bomb explodes
- the mission fails
Damage while defusing
While the `Bomb Disposal` GUI is open:
- you only take `25%` damage
Rewards
Completing the mission gives:
- explosives
- law points

Notes
- The mission uses skull blips for bomb locations.
- Nearby criminals must be cleared before the bomb can be defused.
- The puzzle is time-based.
- `Cancel` safely aborts the puzzle instead of forcing a failed defuse.
