Duel tournament

Every occupation can join a Duel Tournament. Use /dt to open the panel and /pt to join the current tournament.

The panel has these tabs:

  • Qualify & Info: tournament timer, map, mode, qualifier limits, and the Qualify button
  • Stats: a Search: box and a Players list. Pick a player to see their Nickname, Account, Playtime, Tournaments won, Duels won and Kills
  • Leaderboard: ranks players by tournaments won as #1, #2 and so on, each name followed by the account name in brackets. The line at the top reads My position: #<number>

Use /dt update for the on-screen status, /pt info for more information, and /dtc <message> for tournament team chat.

Duel tournaments start every 2 hours and use 1.2 game speed. They run as solo or 2v2; larger team sizes are disabled. A tournament is made of groups of two players who face each other. Winners go into a queue and losers are out, until the last winner is announced. The last winner gets money based on how many teams qualified. After dying, press Z in the lobby to spectate teammates.

For normal /duel challenges, the maximum bet is $100,000. Bets above $5,000 are limited to 15 minutes after every 3 duels.

Tournament notifications

Set Duel Tournament Messages to Disabled under /settings > Interface > EVENT NOTIFICATIONS to hide tournament messages often displayed at the top of the screen. This does not hide the tournament's start message. The default is Enabled.

A tournament opens with a green banner at the top, such as A 1vs1 duel tournament is gathering qualifiers now (DUEL MODE: Full Duel) (maximum: 8), type /pt to qualify. Before the start it also says The 1vs1 duel tournament ends gathering qualifiers in 1 minute. Use '/pt' to join. If too few players qualify, a red line at the top says The duel tournament has been canceled due to not enough qualifiers. Duel modes include Full Duel and Basic Duel.
