The Mystery Bag is a special item that appears randomly on the map (outside Las Venturas). It offers a chance for valuable rewards but also carries a risk of exploding if it’s a trap. The rarity and value of the bag determine the rewards or risk involved.
How to Find the Mystery Bag
- Appearance: The Mystery Bag appears as a '?' blip on your map, labeled as "Mystery Bag."
- Notification: Upon bag spawning, you will receive a message in your chatbox or on the top of your screen:
- "Smugglers abandoned a mysterious bag nearby. Go check its content now!"
Bag Interaction: Options
Once you reach the Mystery Bag, you are presented with two options:
- Press 1: Open the bag. This action has a chance of rewarding you or triggering a trap that causes it to explode.
- Risk: The rarer the bag, the higher the reward, but also the higher the chance of an explosion.
- Press 2: Sell the bag. You can sell the bag for a fixed amount, which is lower than the potential reward, with no risk of it exploding.

The Mystery Bag comes in different colors that indicate its rarity and the associated rewards or risks. Here are the details for each rarity:
