Repair Kits

Repair Kit is a vehicle item used to repair vehicles in CIT.

Quick facts

A Repair Kit does not restore one universal displayed percentage across all vehicles. Examples from one kit: Mower and Taxi S 0% to 100%; Cheetah 0% to 35% with or without upgrades; Banshee 45% to 68%; Rhino 74% to 97%.
During a repair, the repair text shows how many Repair Kits you have left.
Press W (forward) to cancel the repair.
A cancelled repair does not consume the Repair Kit.

How to use

Make sure you have a Repair Kit, press X, click the vehicle, and choose Use Repair Kit.

Craft a Repair Kit in F9 with:

30 Oil
1 Electronics
1 Engine Parts

Choose Use Repair Kit.

Uses

Repair Kit is used to:

Repair your vehicle without going to a Pay n' Spray
Repair a vehicle on the spot

Yourself with X > Repair Vehicle if you have DL1+. This needs no Repair Kit. It costs the same as a Pay n' Spray repair of that damage, without the $500 minimum.

Using your kit on another player's vehicle consumes your kit, not theirs.

Use time

Using a Repair Kit plays a 5 second repair animation.

The Automotive Repair course makes Repair Kit use 25% faster.

Restoring body damage

Repair Kits fix tires and flip an overturned vehicle upright, including a trailer.

Restoring a vehicle to 100% health with Repair Kits repairs broken wings and missing doors as well as other damage.
