Security Center

The Security Center is a personal interface that helps protect your CIT account from unauthorized access. Open it with /security. You can use it to check accounts on this PC.

Main tabs

1. Device Whitelist

Allows you to whitelist specific MTA serials (unique device IDs) that are allowed to access your account.
Helps prevent others from logging into your account, even if they know your password.
If someone tries to log in from a device not on your whitelist, access will be denied.

2. PIN

Protects the money in your bank account from anyone who gains access to your account or uses your PC while you're away.
You can:
- Add a new PIN
- Change your current PIN (requires entering the old PIN first)

3. Email

You can attach an email address to your account for password recovery.
If you forget your password, a recovery code will be sent to your email.

Note:

Your email is stored using one way encryption for privacy.
Remember the exact email used, including capital letters, for email recovery.
If email recovery fails, request manual recovery on the ARM forum board using the required format and ownership proof. You need a forum account to post.
If you forgot your password and have neither a recovery email nor a forum account, request recovery in #ARM-Ticket on the main CIT Discord.

Email Change Steps:

Use /changeemail <old_email> <new_email> <account_password>, or open the Email section in the Security Center.
If you do not have an old email, use none for old_email.
When you receive the confirmation code for the change, use /confirmemail code to confirm it.

4. Password

You can change your account password directly from this tab.

Required Fields:

Old password
New password

Enter your current and new password in the Password section.

5. Logins

Displays a history of computers that accessed your account.

Green: Same device serial as your current one
Red: Different serial, possible unauthorized access

Use this tab to review suspicious activity and secure your account accordingly.

Forum tab

The Forum tab can create a forum account using your in-game account name, link an existing forum account, or unlink the account currently associated with your game account. The commands /getforumaccount, /linkforumaccount, and /unlinkforumaccount also work.

Open Security Center

Use /security to open account security. The panel can check accounts used on the current PC and provides supported security and email options.

Whitelisting a device

Open /security and use Device Whitelist. Enter one allowed MTA serial per line. A blank list allows any serial to log in.

To add the current computer, press Add current device, enter the account password, and save. For another computer, type serial in its F8 console and add that serial. Email recovery can authorize a new serial when needed. Account Recovery Managers can assist if the serial whitelist makes your account inaccessible.

The PIN tab emulates the use of /setpin and /removepin.
