Squad Blips

Squad Blips are the map and radar blips used to show members of your squad in CIT.

How squad blips appear

Squad blips are circles with an S. They use the squad member's job color.

Enable Squad Blips shows squad members and their names on F11. Setting it to No also hides your own blip from squad members.

Use /settings and set Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips to Yes if you want classic style.

Blip notes

Squad Blips are used to identify squad members.

By default:

  • they appear as circles with an S
  • they use the squad member's job color

Appearance

The normal Squad Blip style is:

  • a circle
  • with an S inside it

The color of the blip depends on:

  • the squad member's current job color

Classic style

Squad Blips can be changed to a classic style.

To do this:

  • open /settings
  • set Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips to Yes

How to view squad blips

Squad Blips are part of the normal squad display system.

They are used to show:

  • your squad members

Blip details

  • Squad Blips use the squad member's job color.
  • The classic style setting is shared with group and alliance blips.
  • Squad Blips are different from squad destination blips placed with /msd.

LV restriction

Squad blips are disabled while you are in LV.
