Super Advert

From CIT Wiki

Super Advert

Superadvert is a global advert system in CIT. It sends your advert to all online non-AFK players who can receive it.

Superadvert is different from normal Trading Chat.

It is:

  • server wide
  • shown to all online non-AFK players who can receive it
  • paid per receiver
  • limited by playtime, character count, and cooldown

To send one, use:

/superadvert [message]

Requirements

To use Superadvert, you need:

  • at least 8 hours of playtime

How it works

When you send a Superadvert:

  • it is shown to all online non-AFK players who can receive it
  • the cost is based on how many receivers get it
  • the message can be up to 110 characters

Cost

Superadvert costs:

  • $500 per receiver

This means the total price depends on how many online non-AFK players receive the advert.

For context, adverts at the $500 per-receiver rate have cost $10,000 to $94,500 for 20 to 189 recipients, about $57,500 in the middle. An advert costs the least in the early morning, about $26,000 around 07:00 to 09:00 server time, and the most in the evening, about $71,000 around 18:00 to 20:00. These are examples, not fixed minimum or maximum fees.

Character limit

A Superadvert allows up to:

  • 110 characters

Cooldown

The normal Superadvert cooldown is:

  • 3 hours

Donator levels reduce that cooldown.

Donator level Cooldown
Normal 3 hours
DL1 2 hours
DL2 1 hour
DL3 3 minutes

How to send a superadvert

Use:

/superadvert [message]

Example format:

  • type /superadvert
  • add your message after it
  • send it

Country alternative

If you only want players from your own country to receive the advert, use:

/countryadvert

This is the country only alternative to Superadvert.

Chat settings

Superadvert visibility can be changed in the chat settings.

To change it:

  • open /settings
  • select Interface
  • go to CHAT BOX TEXT
  • change Super Adverts

The same chat settings area also includes options such as:

  • Superadvert is not limited to normal trading chat viewers.
  • It is shown to all online non-AFK players who can receive it.
  • The final price depends on receiver count.
  • Donator Level reduces the cooldown, but does not remove the playtime requirement listed here.

Current Superadvert requirements

Use /superadvert <message> to send a server wide advert to eligible online players who are not AFK. It requires at least 8 hours of playtime, allows up to 110 characters, and costs $500 for each eligible receiver.

The normal cooldown is 3 hours. Donator Level 1 reduces it to 2 hours, Donator Level 2 to 1 hour, and Donator Level 3 to 3 minutes.

Allowed messages and cooldown check

Superadvert can be used for events, including real world events, and to congratulate people. Political or other non-game provoking messages are still against mutable rule #H. Saying a country name to provoke players is also mutable under #H. Do not advertise other MTA servers or post server IPs.

If Superadvert is on cooldown, use /superadvert to see how much time remains. The first Car Show note is free. Later notes cost money for each player who receives them.

Super adverts may be written in any language. The Car Show Note is English-only.

Forum event links

CIT forum links, including event topics, are allowed in /superadvert.
