Taxi Driver is a civilian transport job where you pick up passengers and drive them to their destination.
Overview
Taxi Driver is a Civilian job based on passenger transport.
You pick up the marked customer, follow the destination blip, and complete the trip for pay.
Your reward depends on your level, your total Taxi Driver earnings, the trip distance, and how cleanly you drive.
VIP passengers pay extra if you deliver them quickly.
How To Start
To become a Taxi Driver:
- Take the Taxi Driver job at its marker in Los Santos or San Fierro.
- Or get inside a Taxi, Cabbie, or Taxi S and press
N.
At Level 10, you unlock:

How It Works
Taxi Driver works by picking up passengers and taking them to their destination.
To complete a trip:
- Go to the passenger icon on the map.
- Pick up the marked client.
- Follow the grey destination blip.
- Deliver the passenger.
Red passenger blips are VIP clients.
VIP clients pay extra if you deliver them quickly.
Payment
Taxi Driver pay depends on:
- Your level
- Your total Taxi Driver earnings
- Trip distance
- How cleanly you drive
Crashes reduce your reward.
VIP passengers pay more if you deliver them quickly.
