River Fisherman

River Fisherman is a civilian fishing job with a circular fishing minigame and a choice between cash and fish rewards.

Payment choice

Press N while working to switch payment between Cash and Fish. An on-screen message shows the current selection.

Fishing minigame

Press Left Mouse Button when the thick white target segment is reached. The thin circular outline is not the target.

Complete 3 successful hits. Missing does not end the minigame; keep trying until all 3 hits are complete.

Course effect

The Fishing Methods course can turn a sardine catch into a valuable tuna. It also works with River Fisherman.

Rapid Transport

River Fisherman has no job-specific Rapid Transport restriction. Wanted players still cannot use Rapid Transport.

Current River Fisherman flow

Stand near usable water as a Civilian and use /fish. Hold RMB to aim and click LMB to cast. While the line is out, LMB cancels fishing.

The circular minigame needs 3 successful hits in a row. Click LMB when the line crosses the thick white target segment. Press RMB to cancel the minigame.

Press N while working to switch payment between Cash and Fish. The displayed message shows the current choice.
