Alliance

Alliance is a group system that lets different groups work together.

How alliances work

Use /alliance to open the Alliance panel. The panel includes Create Alliance, Leave Alliance, Invite Group, Delete Alliance, Remove Group, and Set Leadership.

Only group founders or leaders can create an alliance. The group that creates it starts as the leadership group. Use /acceptalliance after your group receives an alliance invite.

Alliance commands

Command Use Notes
/alliance Opens Alliance panel Create, leave, invite, delete, remove, and set leadership.
/acceptalliance Accepts an alliance invite Invite must be active.
/amotd <message> Sets Alliance Message of the Day Alliance notice.
/allycountd <seconds> <reason> Sets alliance countdown Entering 0 cancels countdowns.
/mad Places alliance destination blips /mad remove ID removes one, /mad remove clears them.

Allies show as an A blip. Alliance leaders show * before their name in the alliance GUI. Alliance invites auto clear 10 minutes after being received.

Alliance chat colors and squad alliance chat colors are in /settings. Choose Alliance Nametag accepts an RGB color code.

Open and Manage

Use /alliance to open the Alliance panel.

The panel includes:

  • Create Alliance
  • Leave Alliance
  • Invite Group
  • Delete Alliance
  • Remove Group
  • Set Leadership

Only group founders or leaders can create an alliance. The group that creates the alliance starts as the leadership group.

If your group gets invited to an alliance, use /acceptalliance.

/amotd <message> Alliance message of the day
/allycountd <seconds> <reason> Alliance countdown

Destination Blips

Use /mad to place multiple alliance destination blips.

Use /mad remove ID to remove one blip.

Use /mad remove to clear all alliance blips.

Map and Settings

Allies show as an A blip.

Use /addally to add all alliance group member blips or /addally <groupName> for one group. /deleteally removes them all; add a group name to remove only that group's blips. After /deleteally with no group name, the game shows Removed all alliance members from your radar.

In /settings, Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips can make allies use classic green blips. Enable Alliance Blips under /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE shows or hides the blips of the allied groups you added to your radar; the default is Yes.

The Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11 setting controls F11 map name display.

Alliance also appears in the Healing and Armor Sale Restrictions setting, including options such as:

  • No Law + Group + Alliance
  • No Criminal + Group + Alliance
  • Group + Alliance only

F6 alliance controls

Group and squad alliances are managed through the Group Alliance and Squad Alliance tabs in F6. Each shows the alliance name, total online and membership counts, member groups or squads with Online and Total columns, and pending invitations.

Controls include Create, Leave, Invite Group or Invite Squad, Remove Group or Remove Squad, Set Leadership, Delete Alliance, Alliance Members, Refresh, and Accept Invite. The creating group or squad becomes the alliance leader; it manages membership and can transfer leadership with Set Leadership.

Alliance communication controls are in the Communication tab, subject to membership and rank permissions. /asc needs the Alliance Staff Chat permission.

Alliance nametag color

Open /settings and use Choose Alliance Nametag.

  • Turf Color uses each alliance member's turf-capture color.
  • None leaves alliance-member nametags unchanged and is the default.
  • An RGB value such as 0 255 0 sets a custom color.

The setting does not apply to alliance members on an opposing team, such as Police versus Criminal or Gangster players.

Alliance chat visibility

Open /settings > General:

  • Under GROUP / ALLIANCE, use Enable Unit Chat for Unit Chat and Enable Alliance Chat for group Alliance Chat.
  • Under SQUAD, use Enable Squad Alliance Chat for squad Alliance Chat.

Each setting uses Yes to show that chat in your chatbox and No to hide it. All three default to Yes.

Open /settings > General. Under GROUP / ALLIANCE, set See Alliance Staff Chat to No to hide group alliance staff chat from your chatbox. Under SQUAD, set See Squad Alliance Staff Chat to No to hide squad alliance staff chat. Both settings default to Yes.
