Police Detective
The Police Detective job in CIT requires you to solve cases by investigating crime scenes, gathering evidence, and interrogating suspects. Once employed, you will work to gather clues, identify suspects, and solve different types of cases. This guide will explain how to get the job, what you need to do once employed, and how to solve cases effectively.
How to Get the Job?
- You can take the Police Detective job inside LSPD or by using the command
/go Police Detective
if you have 100,000 Arrest Points.
Job Overview
The Detective job consists of two stages:
- Stage 1: Crime Scene Investigation
- You will be assigned a crime scene with a dead body marked on your map.
- Go to the crime scene and photograph the body.
- After photographing the body, it will be sent to the morgue.
- Clues will appear around the body that you need to photograph and collect.
- Collecting clues will help you identify 3 suspects for the case.
- Stage 2: Suspect Interrogation
- Once you have identified the suspects, three houses will be marked on your map where you will need to question the suspects.
- Based on the clues and interrogations, you will solve the case and determine the guilty suspect.
Types of Evidence You Can Find
- Weapons: Shotgun (ID 349), Sawnoff (ID 350), Knife (ID 335), Silenced Pistol (ID 347), Sniper (ID 358)
- Items: Flowers (ID 325), Shovel (ID 337), Burger (ID 2703), Drink and food boxes (ID 2837), Rubbish box (ID 928), Capsule (ID 3082), Basketball (ID 1946), Wheel (ID 1025), Cup (ID 2647), Pizza (ID 2702), Booger (ID 2769)
Types of Cases
- Questioning Case:
- Question all 3 suspects.
- Their answers will lead you to the guilty one.
- Kill Case:
- A suspect will attack you on sight.
- You need to kill the suspect to solve the case. If you die, you lose.
- Evidence Case:
- Gather evidence from each house until the murder weapon is found.
- The weapon will help you identify the guilty suspect.
How to Interrogate a Suspect
- Go to the suspect’s house, enter the blue marker, and press N.
- Approach the suspect to start the Q&A process.
How to Solve a Case
- Based on the case type, you will need to gather clues and interrogate suspects.
- Once you determine the guilty suspect, use the Case File (press M) to make an arrest.
Levels and Payments
- L0: Until 50 cases solved - $16,800
- L1: 50 cases solved - $18,480 (Multiplier 1.1)
- L2: 100 cases solved - $20,160 (Multiplier 1.2)
- L3: 250 cases solved - $23,520 (Multiplier 1.4)
- L4: 450 cases solved - $28,560 (Multiplier 1.7)
- L5: 700 cases solved - $33,600 (Multiplier 2)
