Group Job

Group Job is a custom occupation for your group, with its own name and skin list. It belongs to Criminals, Gangsters, Police Service, or Civilian Workers, and members can do that team's activities. Eligible L6+ groups request one free through Land Development; members with permission take it using /gojob or F6 > Group Job.

A Group Job is a custom job that a group can request.

It becomes available for groups at:

Group Level 6

If the group job is approved:

members with the right permission can use /gojob
members can also use the Group Job button in F6

At this level, groups can get:

a custom group job with /gojob
1 non-VIP recoverable group job vehicle for $10,000,000

How to use a Group Job

If your group has an approved group job, you can use it by:

typing /gojob
or using the Group Job button in F6

In the skin gridlist, select Current to keep your skin and shader. Clicking a skin ID previews it before you take the job. /gojob can be used twice in 10 minutes.

Permissions

Group ranks can control access to the group job.

The listed permissions are:

Able to take group job
Assign group job

The Assign group job permission:

only applies to Level 6+ groups

This means group ranks can separately control:

who can take the group job
who can assign the group job to other players

Level 6+ police groups can select GIU when assigning the job. A Level 0 group gets Your group level does not have permission to use group job.

Leaders with the right rank permission can:

assign the group job to other players

This is separate from simply being allowed to take the job yourself.

Civilian groups at Level 10

At Group Level 10, civilian groups get an extra group job benefit.

They can use:

/gojob

from base to:

set themselves as any job
without going to the normal job spawner

Requesting a Group Job

Groups that just reached Level 6 can request a group job.

The request format is:

Group name
Link to board
Team name
Occupation name
Skin IDs to show in skin list
Group RGB color

Changing the Group Job skin list

L6+ groups with a custom group job and occupation can request a /gojob skin list change for $10,000,000, regardless of the number of skins. Police groups must use skins specific to Police.

The group can use:

any number of skins

as long as they:

fit the occupation

The skin list change request format is:

Group name
Link to group board
Which side is your group
Occupation name
New skin list

Unique Group Job skin model

At Group Level 8, groups can request:

a unique skin ID for the group job

The model must:

be physically acceptable
look like a human
be no smaller than skin ID 230
not be bigger than 3 MB unzipped for both files

The skin model request format is:

Group name
Link to group board
Skin files link

Group Job vehicle support

A group with its own group job can request:

1 non-VIP recoverable vehicle

This is available for:

L6+ groups with their own group job

It can include:

an armored vehicle

The listed cost is:

$10,000,000

L10 groups get 1 extra non-VIP recoverable vehicle.

The recoverable vehicle request format is:

Group Job details

Group Job is a custom group feature, not a normal public job marker job.
It starts at Group Level 6.
Access to take and assign the job is controlled through group rank permissions.
Civilian groups get an extra Group Job benefit at Level 10.

Related commands

Command	Use

Request cost and continued access

L6+ groups without a group job can request one for free. Members need the appropriate rank permission for /gojob or F6 > Group Job; permitted leaders can assign the group job to other players. The occupation name appears in TAB and stats. Demotion below L6 removes the job, and it must be requested again after reaching L6.

Recognizing a group occupation

Hulk is the group job of the criminal group Hymie, not a Civilian job. Hooligan is the job name used by TheHooligans. These are custom group occupations, accessed with permission through /gojob or F6.
