Country Chat

Country Chat is the country based chat channel in CIT. Press T to use it, or use a custom key from /settings in the Binds tab.

Chat keys and commands

Chat	Use	Notes
Main Chat	/main [message]	LS, SF, OS, and BC share the same Main Chat. LV has its own Main Chat.
Country Chat	T	You can change the key in /settings then Binds. /cc is Car Chat, not Country Chat.
Team Chat	Y	/tc is Battle Royale team chat, not normal side team chat.
Local Chat	U or /localchat <message>	Only nearby players can see it.
Support Chat	J > Support or /sup [question]	Use it for normal support questions.
Car Chat	/cc	This is separate from Country Chat.

Chat use

Country Chat is used for:

• talking to players from your country
• chatting without using Main Chat
• using your country chat group

It is one of the main public chat types in CIT.

How to use Country Chat

To talk in Country Chat:

• press T
• type normally without /main
• or use a custom key from /settings in the Binds tab

Difference from Main Chat

Country Chat is different from Main Chat.

Main Chat:

• uses /main [message]
• has no current direct key documented yet
• is English only

Country Chat:

• uses T for normal chat input
• can use a custom key from /settings in the Binds tab
• is based on your country or country chat group

Difference from Car Chat

Country Chat is not the same as Car Chat.

Car Chat note:

• /cc is Car Chat
• /cc is not Country Chat

J chat interface

The J chat interface includes:

• My Country

This is the country related chat channel in the chat interface.

To open the chat interface:

• press J

From there, you can:

• choose My Country
• use Show in Chatbox
• use Beep on Message
• use Line Select

Chatbox settings

Country Chat visibility can be changed in:

• /settings

In Chat Box Text, the listed setting is:

• Enable My Country Chat

This setting controls whether Country Chat is shown in the chatbox.

Country chat groups

Small countries are grouped into country chat groups like EN and ESP, so players from small countries are not alone in Country Chat.

An example of a country based regional chat is the Middle East country chat.

It includes:

• SA
• BH
• AE
• YE
• PS
• SY
• SD

Related country message system

There is also a separate country based advert system.

To send an advert to players from your country, use:

/countryadvert [message]

This is separate from normal Country Chat.

Country Chat Notes

• Country Chat is used by pressing T, or by using a custom key from /settings in the Binds tab.
• Small countries are grouped into country chat groups like EN and ESP.
• It is different from Main Chat.
• /cc is Car Chat, not Country Chat.
• The J chat interface lists the country channel as My Country.
• Country Chat visibility can be controlled with Enable My Country Chat in /settings.
