Rapid Transport restriction

A ped fare cannot start for 1 minute after Rapid Transport. Teleporting and recovering the taxi during a fare resets the mission and removes the passenger.

Player passengers and taxi requests

CIT has no official player-taxi request or dispatch service. Taxi Driver mainly carries computer-controlled pedestrians. Real players can ride and periodically pay the driver. Taxi, Cabbie, and Nebula charge and pay $500 every 15 seconds while travelling above 37 km/h; Maverick charges and pays $1,000 every 15 seconds. Players who only need transport can use F2 to select or recover their own vehicle.

For payout after a crash, use floor(post-crash fare box x VIP multiplier x passenger multiplier). The fare box already includes the crash reduction.

Player passenger fares

While carrying a real player above 37 km/h, Taxi, Cabbie, and Nebula pay the driver and charge the passenger $500 every 15 seconds. Maverick pays and charges $1,000 every 15 seconds. Ordinary VIP and hourly Double Earnings do not multiply these fares.

Environment damage to the taxi can reduce the fare. Leaving the taxi gives 30 seconds to return. Rapid Transport and recovery during a fare reset the mission and remove the passenger.

Current start and HUD

Take the job at its Los Santos or San Fierro marker, or press N inside Taxi, Cabbie, or Taxi S. The current Employment Office panel lists Taxi S as the non VIP recoverable job vehicle. Press N at a local Taxi Driver marker to return to the Employment Office.

The HUD shows the current Taxi Driver level, progress, session earnings under Earned, the current top Taxi Driver, and the estimated fare during an active passenger trip.
