ATM Robbery

ATM Robbery is a criminal activity where you plant explosives on an ATM, defend the area, and collect the cash after the explosion.

How to rob an ATM

ATMs are shown on the map by default. At an ATM, have 5 explosives and press Z when Press Z to begin ATM robbery appears. Defend the robbery for 1 minute and collect the money after the bomb explodes.

Current robbery flow

Normal ATM access uses N. To rob it, have 5 Explosives and press Z when Press Z to begin ATM robbery appears. The bomb is placed automatically and counts down for 60 seconds, and the screen shows Stay near the ATM for 60 seconds to complete the robbery.

The robbery gives Felony Robbery and 40 Wanted Points. Stay near the ATM, but you do not have to remain inside its marker. After the explosion, collect the money from the green marker. Base rewards are $15,000 and 250 RP. The emptied ATM remains unavailable for 10 minutes.

During the robbery, a white bar counts down once a second from Time remaining: 00:59 to 00:00. It turns red with a sound for the last 5 seconds. Leaving the area starts the warning You have 5 seconds to return to the ATM or you fail the robbery! When the timer ends, Collect the money near the ATM to finish the robbery! directs you to the collection marker. A failed robbery can also show You have fled the robbery area with nothing but heat!

A cop who kills an ATM robber gets a $3,000 bonus ($3,600 with VIP) in addition to normal kill-arrest pay. The bonus is doubled during hourly Double Earnings and reduced to 10% over the earn limit.
