Rapid Transport

Rapid Transport, also known as RT, is the fast travel system in CIT. It lets players teleport between major locations by using transport markers or the /rt command when eligible.

How to use rapid transport

Need Use Notes
Use a marker Stand in a Rapid Transport marker and choose a destination. The marker uses the orange loop icon on the minimap and F11.
Find locations /gps category Rapid Transportation Marks Rapid Transport destinations.
Use command /rt Available for DL2+ or new players under 15 hours.
Wanted restriction Do not be wanted You cannot use Rapid Transport while wanted.
Criminal restriction SF Police Department Criminals cannot teleport to SF - Police Department.

How Rapid Transport works

Rapid Transport is used to travel quickly between important places.

You can use it by:

  • standing in a Rapid Transport marker
  • using /rt if you meet the requirement

Rapid Transport markers are shown by:

  • an orange loop icon on the minimap
  • an orange loop icon on F11

These markers are found near important places such as:

  • hospitals
  • prison release points
  • other main buildings

To use a Rapid Transport marker:

  • find a marker with the orange loop icon
  • stand in it
  • choose your destination

Using /rt

You can also use:

/rt

This only works if you are:

  • Donator Level 2 or higher
  • a new player under 15 hours of playtime

Restrictions

Rapid Transport cannot be used when:

  • you are wanted

There is also one listed destination restriction:

  • criminals cannot teleport to SF - Police Department

Rapid Transport during jobs

Some Civilian jobs cannot use Rapid Transport.

Escaping with Rapid Transport

Using Rapid Transport to escape an in game situation is not punishable by itself.

This includes:

  • /rt
  • similar travel systems

If something about it can be abused to escape unfairly:

  • report it as a bug

Finding Rapid Transport markers

To find Rapid Transport markers:

  • look for the orange loop icon on the minimap
  • open F11 and look for the same icon
  • check near hospitals, prison release points, and other main buildings

Commands

Command Use
/rt Open Rapid Transport without going to a marker if you are eligible

Restrictions and access

  • Rapid Transport is blocked while you are wanted.
  • Donator Level 2+ can use /rt directly.
  • New players under 15 hours can also use /rt directly.
  • Criminals cannot teleport to SF - Police Department.
  • Some Civilian jobs cannot use Rapid Transport. The full current restricted job list is not listed here.

Location notes

  • There is a Rapid Transport marker at SFPD.
  • Civilian job Rapid Transport is not available for every civilian job, and News Reporter may not use Rapid Transport.

Use that category when you want to find the nearest or most useful rapid transport route from the GPS list.
