Punishment Appeal Managers (PAM)
Punishment Appeal Managers (PAM) are players assigned by +L4 Staff team to handle appeals submitted through the Issued Punishments Appealing System. Their main role is to review appeals, evaluate their fairness, and respond with a clear and unbiased verdict based on server rules and staff guidelines.
What Do PAMs Do?
- Review Appeals: PAMs read every appeal submitted by players who believe they were unfairly punished (muted, jailed, warned, etc.).
- Investigate Cases: They examine the context, chat logs, screenshots, or videos related to the punishment. If needed, they reach out to the staff who issued it for clarification.
- Rule Clarification: If the punishment is valid, PAMs explain the exact rule that was broken, helping the player understand what went wrong.
- Remove Unfair Punishments: If the punishment was a mistake, PAMs notify the staff who issued it—or a PAA (Punishment Appeal Associate)—to remove it from the player's history.
What They Don’t Do
- They don’t reverse punishments without evidence or review.
- They don’t override staff decisions out of personal opinion — decisions must follow server rules and proof.
- They don’t reply instantly — reviews take time, so players are expected to wait patiently after submitting an appeal.
