Alliance

Overview

An Alliance is a feature that lets different groups coordinate together. Alliances are used for communication between allied groups, and for showing allies on the radar.

Requirements

  • /alliance can be started by group founders or leaders.

Alliance panel

Use /alliance to open the alliance panel.

From the alliance panel, you can:

  • Create alliance
  • Leave alliance
  • Invite group
  • Delete alliance
  • Set leadership
  • Remove group (only for the alliance leadership group)

Joining an alliance

Invite

Invites are managed from the /alliance panel using the Invite group option.

Accepting an invite

To accept an alliance invite:

  • /acceptalliance <alliancename>

Your group must have received an invitation first.

Leaving or deleting

Leaving and deleting are done from the /alliance panel:

  • Leave alliance
  • Delete alliance

Communication

Alliance chat

  • /ac <message> sends a message to all alliance members.

Alliance staff chat

  • /asc <message> sends a message in alliance staff chat.

This is a private chat and only works for players who have permission.

Coordination tools

Message of the Day

  • /amotd <message> sets the alliance Message of the Day.

The message is shown to alliance members when they log in or check alliance info.

Alliance countdown

  • /allycountd <seconds> <Reason> starts an alliance wide countdown.

This sends a countdown to all alliance members with the reason you type.

Alliance destination on the map

  • /mad lets you set an alliance destination on the map by following the prompts.
  • /mad remove removes the current alliance destination.

  1. Type /settings
  2. Find "Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips"
  3. Set it to "Yes"

Showing ally names on the F11 map

To show group and alliance member names on the F11 map:

  1. Type /settings
  2. Find "Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11"
