Jetpack

Jetpack is a VIP hours feature opened with /vipjetpack or /jetpack after it is unlocked.

Main restrictions

Jetpack cannot be used in Las Venturas or while wanted.
Wait 30 seconds after being hit before equipping it.
Gangsters cannot use it in the main dimension and must wait 60 seconds after Jetpack use before switching to Gangster.
Gang Intervention Unit officers cannot use it.
Jetpack cannot be used inside an Armed Robbery area or Criminal Event dimension.
Cave Miner cannot use Jetpack. Iron Miner has no Jetpack restriction.

Other dimensions

Jetpack consumes Nitrous in the main and race dimensions, but not in apartments or event dimensions. Apartments provide a free Jetpack through /jetpack.

Nitrous and restrictions

Jetpack consumes Nitrous in the main and race dimensions and is removed when Nitrous reaches 0. It does not consume Nitrous in outer space, apartments, the event dimension, or other dimensions outside the main and race dimensions.

Jetpack cannot be used while wanted, inside an Armed Robbery area, while carrying a Briefcase, or as Gangster in the main dimension.

Controls and combat removal

Use /jetpack to turn Jetpack on or off.
Use /bind <key> jetpack to bind the toggle.
Removing Jetpack near an opponent, enemy, or hit target freezes the player for 3 seconds. This does not happen when no hostile player is nearby.
A stationary player on Jetpack who is shot has it removed automatically and cannot equip it for 30 seconds.
Falling from a bike does not count as recent damage for Jetpack use.
A police officer entering an Armed Robbery with Jetpack is frozen for 3 seconds.

Job interactions

Farmers can collect bales while using Jetpack. Firefighter victims do not follow a player who enters a vehicle or uses Jetpack.

Equipping Jetpack as Paper Boy removes the Jetpack without cancelling your route.

Movement

Use W, A, S, and D to move, Space to go up, and Shift to go down.

Jetpack model

Find Set Custom Jetpack Mod in /settings under Graphics > MODELS & TEXTURES and choose a model. It has 12 choices: HD Jetpack (the default), HD Jetpack 2, Steampunk, Rocket, Girl, Batman, Machine, Parajet, Subway, Modern, Crazy and Default GTA.
