Ped Missions

Mission peds show a ? above their heads. Move closer to see the mission title, then press X and click the ped when Click to see mission appears.

How to start

Read the task in Hitman - Got what it takes?.
Check Mission reward and Reputation points. Rewards depend on the mission.
Choose Accept to start, or Close to leave the panel.
Follow the automatic GPS route and Distance HUD to the ? target blip. You do not need to press N.
Complete the stated objective. Hitman tasks require you to kill the mission's targets.

Quit your job to cancel an active Ped Mission. Dying also cancels it and removes the remaining targets and blips. A kill mission completes as soon as the last target dies; you do not need to return to the mission giver.

Hitman rewards

For Can you kill a drug dealer?, VIP increases the actual cash payment to $3,600. The mission banner still displays $3,000.

Can you kill my husband? pays $3,000 ($3,600 with VIP) and 100 RP. With VIP, Can you kill 2 pimps? pays $6,000 and Can you kill a load of dealers? pays $19,200.

Only Criminals and Gangsters can accept the husband, pimps, and load-of-dealers missions. Police can also accept Can you kill a drug dealer?, but completing it immediately changes them to Criminal.

You can have only one Ped Mission at a time. A second acceptance shows You are already on a mission! If the offer changes or its ped disappears before you accept, The task you accepted is no longer being offered! appears. There is no cooldown between completed missions, including repeating the same mission. Over the hourly earn limit, Ped Mission cash is cut to 10%.

Only the mission player can damage its targets. The dealers group, bomb guards, and neutralising-gang targets attack on sight; the husband, lone drug dealer, pimps, and ATM thief fight back when attacked. Other targets of the same type within 30 metres join that fight. A fight-back target aims at your last visible position and stops moving after 8 seconds without sight of you rather than following behind a wall. The husband and ATM thief carry a Colt 45, the dealer an Uzi, and each pimp a random gun from Shotgun to M4.

Delivery missions

Got balls to deliver drugs? and Deliver these drugs for me! both open the Drug Courier panel. The panel shows only the ped's text and no reward line.

The Drug Courier task Deliver these drugs for me! asks you to deliver the mission giver's package to a friend while avoiding police. Only Criminals and Gangsters can do Drug Courier missions; Police and civilians cannot.

A finished delivery pays $15,000, or $18,000 with VIP.
The drop-off is an ordinary ped more than 500 metres away, marked with a blip and a GPS route. Go within 1 metre of it to hand over the package.
While you deliver, the red line You were spotted by a police officer patrolling nearby. appears when a Police Service player is within 100 metres of you, at most once every 30 seconds.
The mission can end with The guy you were delivering to died or was arrested., You aborted this mission. or You were arrested while delivering drugs, mission aborted.
Killing a player who is carrying a Drug Courier package pays the killer $5,000 and 10 of one random drug: Crack, God, LSD, Speed or Steroids. The $5,000 is the same with VIP. Over the earn limit it is still paid in full, but the drugs are not given. For police it comes on top of the normal kill-arrest pay.

LSPD bomb mission

The Police ped mission Can you defuse a bomb? is at LSPD. Accept it and kill the guards. After the last guard dies, Now go up to the bomb to defuse it! appears and the bomb gets a blip. Approach within 5 metres on foot. A short animation defuses it; this ped mission has no puzzle and cannot be completed from a vehicle.

The reward is $15,000 worth of Explosives, calculated using Average in F7 > Sell. The quantity varies with that value; it is not a cash payment or a fixed number of Explosives. This is separate from the normal Bomb Disposal job's level rewards.

Other police missions

Police mission panels use Law Enforcement - Got what it takes?, show Mission reward, and have no Reputation points line. They open only for Police Service players; others see This task is only available to police!

A gang needs 'neutralising': eliminate the armed gang meeting in Los Santos; $26,000, or $31,200 with VIP.
An ATM just got robbed!: go to the ATM and kill the robber identified by the camera; $6,000, or $7,200 with VIP. This is separate from criminal ATM Robbery.
