Group Blips
Group Blips are the radar and map markers used to show your group members in CIT.
Blip notes
Group Blips help you track your group members on the radar and map.
They are one of the shared group features available in CIT, along with things like group chat, group bases, group vehicles, alliances, and other group perks.
How Group Blips Look
Group Blips show as:
- A circular blip with a
G
These blips show your group members on the radar and map. Their color depends on each member's job.
How to use Group Blips
You do not need a special command to turn group blips on during normal group use.
When you are in a group, group members can appear with group blips on your radar and map.
Group and Alliance Display Settings
To change group, alliance, or squad display settings:
- Open
/settings - Open
General > GROUP / ALLIANCEfor group and alliance controls, orGeneral > SQUADfor squad controls.
From there, you can change things like:
- Login messages
- Name tags
- Tag colors
- Blip style
F11 Map Names
You can also control whether group and ally member names appear on the F11 map.

- Open
/settings - Find
Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11 - Set it to
Group and Alliance
To disable group and alliance names on the F11 map:
- Open
/settings - Set
Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11toDisabled
Blip Style
Blip style can be changed under /settings > Interface > RADAR / MINI-MAP / F11 MAP.
There is also a setting called:
Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips
Classic blips use blue circles for group members, orange for squad members and green for alliance members. The corresponding blips must already be enabled.
Why Group Blips Matter
Group Blips are useful for:
- Tracking where your group members are
- Staying close to your group
- Coordinating movement
- Finding group members faster on the radar and map

Member names and classic blips
Open /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE and select Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11. Choose Group Only, Alliance Only, Group and Alliance, or Disabled. To show both group and allied members' names, choose Group and Alliance. The default is Group Only.
Group blips are radar and map markers for your group members, shown as a circular blip with a G. Open /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE and set Enable Group Blips to Yes to show them or No to hide them. The default is Yes.
Open /settings and go to Interface > RADAR / MINI-MAP / F11 MAP. Set Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips to Yes for classic blips: group members use blue circles, squad members use orange, and alliance members use green. The relevant group, squad or alliance blips must already be enabled. The default is No; allies normally use an A blip.
