Group Radio

Group Radio is the group music system in CIT. It lets a group play radio stations or stream links through the group radio panel.

Group Radio help

If the stations table is not loaded, open CITPhone and load the Radio stations first.

Group radio can be heard by visitors inside a group interior.

The /gradio panel has fields, tabs, volume controls, and buttons for group radio management. Recently played songs are saved on script restart and can be deleted by double right clicking.

Radio use

Your rank needs the Group Radio permission. To open the group radio panel, use:

/gradio

Group Radio includes these main tabs:

  • Stations
  • Queue
  • Recently Played
  • Playlists

After the song you choose to play, group radio automatically plays the next song. Squads have their own copy, squad radio, opened with /sradio.

How it works

To control the group radio yourself:

  • open /gradio
  • use Plug aux first

If you cannot start a stream:

  • use Plug aux to take control of the group radio
  • if someone else is already using it, ask them to Unplug aux
  • or ask a groupmate with Group Radio access to force plug or unplug the aux

Radio tabs

Stations

The Stations tab shows stations from CITPhone, with a search box under the Station list. The squad radio window (/sradio) has the same search box.

Queue

The Queue tab lets you:

  • add multiple stream links
  • play them in order

Use Add and Remove to manage the queue, then Play / Stream to stream it. The Queue list has the columns #, Name and Sources.

Recently Played

The Recently Played tab lets you replay previous songs or streams by double clicking them. Its list has the columns #, Name and Sources.

Playlists

The Playlists tab shows your /mplayer playlists. Select a playlist to play it in the queue, or select a song in it to play that song directly. The tab has a playlist list plus a list with #, Song and Link. The squad radio window (/sradio) has the same tab.

Hearing the radio

Players who are inside a group's interior can hear that group's radio even if they are outsiders.

Muting and disabling

To turn group radio off or on, use:

/mutegr

Disable Group Custom Radio under /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE mutes group radio audio. Song change messages remain visible.

Commands

Command Use
/gradio Open the group radio panel
/mutegr Toggle group radio off or on; the state remains until you use the command again

Related notes

  • The /gradio panel has fields, tabs, volume controls, and buttons for group radio management.
  • /gradio recently played songs are saved on script restart and can be deleted by double right clicking.

Station table troubleshooting

If the Group Radio stations table is not loaded:

After the phone radio station list is loaded, return to Group Radio.

Group radio and squad radio can show the messages Group radio error, selected song not found and Squad radio error, selected song not found.

Persistent mute toggle

Use /mutegr to turn group radio off or on. When disabled, the state remains until the command is used again. The current confirmation is Group radio is now disabled. You can also use Disable Group Custom Radio in /settings.

Muting group audio

Use /mutegr to toggle group radio off or on. When it is disabled, the game displays Group radio is now disabled. The disabled state persists until you use /mutegr again.

  • You can also open /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE and set Disable Group Custom Radio to Yes to stop hearing your groupmates' songs or streams. Its default is No.
  • Disable Group Custom Radio mutes the audio, but group radio messages such as song change notices remain visible.

Disable Group Custom Radio only mutes the audio; group radio messages such as song change notices remain visible. Find it under /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE. Set it to Yes to mute the music or No to hear it; the default is No.

Recently played and aux controls

/gradio has fields labelled Enter a valid URL down below (.mp3 or stream) and Enter stream name. It has Recently Played, Queue, Stations, and Playlists tabs, a Wipe List button that clears the recently played list, volume controls, and buttons for Play / Stream, Pause, Stop, Skip, and Plug Aux. Beside the volume it also names whoever currently holds the aux; when nobody has plugged in it reads N/A is controlling the aux.
