Group Blips
Group Blips are the radar and map markers used to show your group members in CIT.
Overview
Group Blips help you track your group members on the radar and map.
They are one of the shared group features available in CIT, along with things like group chat, group bases, group vehicles, alliances, and other group perks.
How Group Blips Look
Group Blips show as:
- A circular blip with a `G`
These blips are used for your group members on the radar and map.
How To Use Group Blips
You do not need a special command to turn group blips on during normal group use.
When you are in a group, group members can appear with group blips on your radar and map.
Group and Alliance Display Settings
To change group, alliance, or squad display settings:
- Open `/settings`
- Open the `Group/Alliance/Squad` tab
From there, you can change things like:
- Login messages
- Name tags
- Tag colors
- Blip style
F11 Map Names
You can also control whether group and ally member names appear on the `F11` map.
To show them:
- Open `/settings`
- Find `Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11`
- Set it to `Group and Alliance`
To disable group and alliance names on the `F11` map:
- Open `/settings`
- Set `Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11` to `Disabled`
Blip Style
Blip style can be changed from the `Group/Alliance/Squad` tab in `/settings`.
There is also a setting called:
- `Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips`
This changes group, squad, and alliance blips to classic green blips.
Why Group Blips Matter
Group Blips are useful for:
- Tracking where your group members are
- Staying close to your group
- Coordinating movement
- Finding group members faster on the radar and map
Important Notes
- Group Blips are radar and map markers for your group members.
- They show as a circular blip with a `G`.
- Group and alliance display settings are managed in `/settings`.
- The `Group/Alliance/Squad` tab includes blip style settings.
- `Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11` controls map name display for group and alliance members.
- `Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips` changes the blip style to classic green blips.
