Paramedic

Paramedic, also called Medic, is a civilian job where you heal injured players and rescue NPC patients.

How the job works

Paramedic is a support job on the Civilian side.

You heal injured players, rescue NPC patients, cure diseases and viruses, and build progress through heal points.

The saving-peds mission pays $6 per healing point.

How to start

To play as a Paramedic:

  1. Take the Paramedic job from All Saints Hospital.
  2. Use an Ambulance or Medic Car.
  3. Stand near injured players to heal them, or follow red + blips to NPC rescue missions.

At Level 10, you unlock:

  • /go medic
  • editing the sirens on the Ambulance and Medic Car (see Siren)

How it works

You can play as a Paramedic in a few ways:

  • Stand near injured players to heal them automatically
  • Heal by having injured players enter an Ambulance
  • Rescue NPC patients in the side mission
  • Cure players whose HP is rapidly dropping from a disease or virus

Red + side-mission blips mark NPC patients.

The Medic Car gets dispatch calls.

Real player healing is automatic. It does not require a first aid spray or N. The N and Space controls are for the separate NPC side mission.

Side Mission

Paramedic also has a side mission.

To complete it:

  1. Get in an Ambulance or Medic Car.
  2. Look for the red + icon.
  3. Drive to it.
  4. Stand beside the NPC and press N when Press 'N' to heal this ped. appears.
  5. In Patient's heartbeat, press Space when the moving rectangle is between the target lines. Get 3 successful tries out of 5; taking too long fails the mission.

The red + blips appear in an Ambulance or Medic Car and remain for 10 seconds after exit. A Medic in a Maverick or Raindance can also see the mission ped blips.

Police Medics and Criminal Medics can also do this side mission.

Vehicles

Paramedic uses:

  • Ambulance
  • Medic Car

Medic can recover this vehicle without VIP:

  • Ambulance

Disease and Virus Healing

Only a Paramedic can heal players whose HP is rapidly dropping from a disease or virus.

The Paramedic gets a cure bonus of $1,200 with VIP. Top medic curer in Today's Tops rewards $100,000. The free Preventing Diseases course makes players immune to the random virus event.

Extra Features

When medics use LSD, they can see health bars for nearby players who are not on full health.

VIP players heal twice as quickly from medics.

Courses

The course:

  • First Aid Level 1

makes you heal faster as a paramedic.

Pay facts

Action Value
Saving peds mission 1,000 healing pays $6,000

Select a player to pin them, refresh with Ref, pin all matching players, or unpin all. With no filters, Pin all pins players below 70% health.

The first time you heal that patient in the current 12 hour uniqueness cycle provides a $3,000 bonus, and healing credit is processed in 30 second batches. Current healing and mission limits

  • Red + side mission blips stay visible for 10 seconds after you leave an Ambulance or Medic Car, then disappear.
  • Entering a Maverick or Raindance as a Medic also shows the rescue ped blips.
  • A Paramedic cannot heal a player while that player is moving.
  • In LV, Medics are paid only for healing their own group mates.
  • Medics can enter the Jefferson Motel to heal both cops and criminals. Civilians cannot enter it.
  • Medics can work and heal inside Armed Robberies and can sprint there. They cannot enter the LS Oil Armed Robbery because healing does not work there, but they can operate in other Armed Robberies.
  • In Criminal Events, Medics are invisible to cops and criminals and can heal while standing or crouched. A red medic cross shows their position unless low FPS mode is enabled.

Medics can heal players who enter their Boxville while also selling armor. A Medic within 5 metres of a cop, Gangster, or wanted Criminal is hidden from everyone except that Medic.

Medic info board

The Medic Info Board shows level, progress toward the next rank in Healing, the session Healing counter, the current top Medic, Cures, and earnings against the earn limit. Cures is a Medic field.
