Group Punishment

Group Punishments are the punishment percentages that count against a group. They are used during group reviews and can lead to warnings, promotion denial, or demotion.

Punishment notes

A group's punishment percentage increases when members receive certain punishments.

Important thresholds:

  • if a reviewed group receives more than 70% punishments, a warning is issued
  • if a group reaches 100% punishment rate, the script automatically demotes it
  • if a group has 40% punishments or more, its promotion request is denied immediately

You can check your current group statistics with:

  • /groupstats

How group punishments work

Each punishment type adds a set percentage to the group's punishment total.

After the most recent punishment:

  • there is a 30 hour cooldown period

While the group receives no new punishments:

  • the group's percentage decreases by 1% each day

If the group receives another punishment during that period:

  • the percentage will not decrease for the next 30 hours
  • the cooldown starts again until the group has no punishments for 30 hours

Warnings and demotion

For reviewed groups:

  • if the group receives more than 70% punishments, a warning is issued

For all groups:

  • if the group reaches 100% punishment rate, it is demoted automatically by the script

If a warned group fails to fix its condition by the next review:

  • it can be demoted

Punishments and promotion

Punishments directly affect group promotion.

If a group has:

  • 40% punishments or more, its promotion request is denied immediately

Warned and recently demoted groups:

  • cannot apply for promotion until they are reviewed and reconfirmed again

To avoid receiving a group warning after a demotion:

  • the group must maintain a clean GMP for the upcoming month until the next group reviews

Punishment evasion

If group members leave the group to bypass the script restriction and stop a valid punishment from being counted in the group's GMP:

  • it is treated as an attempt at punishment evading
  • the player's punishment can still be counted in the total punishments of the group
  • further violations and repeated punishment evading are reviewed more harshly
  • additional actions can be taken

Groups that use server group related systems or script bugs to take personal advantage or evade punishments can also face action.
