Car Chat

Car Chat is the vehicle chat channel in CIT. It is used to talk through the dedicated car-chat channel and it follows the same public chat rules as `Main Chat` and `Team Chat`.

Overview

`Car Chat` is one of the available chat types in CIT.

It is listed alongside other chat types such as:

To use `Car Chat`, use:

/cc [message]

`/cc` means:

  • `Car Chat`

It does not mean:

  • `Country Chat`

How to use Car Chat

To talk in `Car Chat`, use:

/cc [message]

This sends your message to the `Car Chat` channel.

J chat interface

`Car Chat` is also one of the channels in the `J` chat interface.

The `J` chat interface includes:

  • `Car Chat`

To open the chat interface:

  • press J

From there, you can select `Car Chat` and use the normal channel options such as:

  • `Show in Chatbox`
  • `Beep on Message`
  • `Line Select`

Rules

`Car Chat` follows the same rules as public English chat.

The KB states that:

  • `Car Chat` follows the same rules as `Main Chat` and `Team Chat`

That means the listed public chat rules also apply there, including:

  • no spam
  • no server advertising
  • no racism or hate speech
  • no insulting players or their families
  • no religious or political arguing
  • no caps flooding
  • English only

Language rule

Because `Car Chat` follows the same rules as `Main Chat` and `Team Chat`:

  • it is English only

If you want to use another language:

  • use `Country Chat`

Common misuse

The following are listed as punishable public chat misuse and also apply to `Car Chat`:

  • spam
  • flooding
  • caps flooding
  • server advertising
  • racist or hate speech
  • insulting players or their families
  • religious or political arguing
  • non-English use

Notes

  • `Car Chat` uses /cc.
  • /cc is `Car Chat`, not `Country Chat`.
  • `Car Chat` appears in the `J` chat interface as its own channel.
  • `Car Chat` follows the same rules as `Main Chat` and `Team Chat`.
