City notes

LV means:

  • Las Venturas

In CIT, Las Venturas is mainly used for:

  • turfing
  • gangster activity
  • briefcase activity
  • LV-specific combat settings
  • airport and hospital access
  • recovery points

Turfing in Las Venturas

Las Venturas has its own large turf system.

The listed total is:

  • 81 turfs

These are divided into:

LV is different from LS turfing.

The listed difference is:

  • LS has 39 turf clusters and resets every 7 days
  • LV has 81 turfs with land, sea, and oil turfs

Turf rewards

Holding LV turfs gives your group:

  • passive income
  • reputation or XP
  • resources instead of normal cash on some turfs

LV turf pay depends on:

  • how many turfs your group owns
  • how many group members are actively turfing

You must stay in LV to receive LV turf payments. Payments arrive every 3 minutes. A fixed $2,000 is added to each cash payment. If you are considered AFK, you receive half of each cash turf share, and the drug, oil, and iron payments drop to about half. The fixed $2,000 is not halved. A group holding only resource turfs receives no turf cash, not even the fixed $2,000. Active play does not give an extra 25% pay or earn limit bonus.

If your group defends a turf successfully:

  • it gives no RP by itself
  • the turf keeps its passive payout
  • it counts toward the Holding Ground achievements

If a group has no members online in LV:

  • its turf percent drops 3x faster

Turfing gives:

  • 120+ RP

The exact amount depends on:

  • your activity
  • your time in the turf

Resource turfs

Some LV turfs pay resources instead of normal cash.

LV has 5 oil turfs that give oil instead of cash.
