Creating and Managing a Group in CIT

In CIT, creating and managing a group allows players to engage in various activities such as turfing, alliances, and group-specific interactions. Groups come with a set of powerful tools and commands that make managing and customizing your group easier.

How to Create a Group

  1. Press F6 to open the group interface, or use the command: /groupsquadunit.
  2. In the left window, enter the name of your group in the edit box at the top.
  3. Select 'Create Group' to finalize the creation of your group.

What Can I Do in a Group?

Once you’ve created a group, you gain access to various features and capabilities:

  • Group Activities: Similar to a squad, with turfing, activities, and more.
  • Turfing: Claim and defend areas for your group.
  • Alliances: Form alliances with other groups.
  • Bank: Groups have their own bank system.
  • Group Chat: For internal communication, including staff and leaders.
  • Blacklist/Whitelist: Manage who can join your group and access its bases.
  • Group Tools:
    • /gmotd (Group Message of the Day)
    • /gsmotd (Group Staff Message of the Day)
    • /gapps (Group Applications)
    • /groupcountd (Group countdown)
    • /gquiz (Group Quiz)
    • /gpoll (Group Poll)
    • /groupreward (Reward members)

Managing Group Members and Slots

Buying Group Member Slots:
  • Use the command /buygroupslots <amount>.
  • Each slot costs $50,000 and the default limit is 10 members. You can buy up to 90 slots.
Inviting Players to Your Group:
  • Press F6 and click 'Invite player to group'.
  • Enter the player's name to invite them.
Accepting Group Invitations:
  • Press F6 and click 'Group Invites'.
  • Select the group and click 'Accept'.
Promoting, Demoting, and Kicking Group Members
  1. Press F6 to open the group panel.
  2. Click on “View My Group Members.”
  3. Select the member you want to promote or demote.
  4. Choose the appropriate action: Promote or Demote.
How to check your permissions:
  1. Press F6
  2. Navigate to “Group/Squad Ranks”
  3. Select your rank and review the permission settings

Make sure the required actions (promotion, demotion, kicking) are allowed for your current role.

Leaving a Group (Founder):

  • Promote another player to Founder (the highest rank) and then leave the group.

Managing Group Settings and Features

  1. Group Reward: Use /groupreward or press F6 > Group Reward to reward group members with money from the group bank.
  2. Group History:
    • Use /copygrouplog to copy the group history to your clipboard.
  3. Group Colors:
    • Use /turfcolor <R G B> to change your group's turf color.
    • Use /groupchatcolor <R G B> to change your group’s chat color (Note: Members can adjust their color in settings).
  4. Managing Group Applications:
    • Use /gapps to manage group applications if you have access granted by the Founder.
  5. Base Ped Management:
    • Leaders can use /addbaseped to add a stationary ped to their group base.
    • Use /delbaseped to remove an existing ped.

Here are several useful commands for managing a group:

  • /grouponline: Check the number of group members online.
  • /gsc <text>: Group staff chat (permission required).
  • /gc <message>: Group chat.
  • /gmotd <message>: Set the Group Message of the Day.
  • /groupstats: View your group’s statistics.
  • /mgd: Set a destination point for your group.
  • /groupcountd <seconds> <reason>: Set a group countdown.
  • /gpoll <time in seconds> <question>: Start a group poll.
  • /gquiz: Open a group quiz panel.
  • /l4veh: Spawn group vehicles at airports.
  • /groupbank: Launch the group’s bank system.
  • /groupwhitelist: Manage your group’s whitelist.
  • /groupblacklist: Manage your group’s blacklist.
  • /groupnote <message>: Send a message to all online members.

Disabling Group Name Tags on the Map

To disable group names from appearing on your map:

  • Go to /settings.
  • Find Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11 and set it to Disabled.

Group Bank Access

  • Groups must be L1 or above to gain access to the group bank.
    • Only Founders or authorized players can withdraw or deposit money.

Special Features for Leaders and Founders

  • Founder Access: Founders can modify group settings, including colors, ranks, and applications.
  • Group Job: To get a group job, use the command /gojob or press F6 to access the Group Job button.

How to Get a Custom Title

  1. Purchase a Custom Title:
    • Use the command: /customtitles
  2. Cost:
    • A custom title for your group costs $30,000,000.
  3. Customization:
    • You can customize both the name and the color of your group’s title.

Command Description
/grouponline Check the number of group members currently online.
/gsc <text> Group staff chat. Permission must be given by the Founder.
/gc <message> Send a message to the group chat.
/gmotd <message> Set the Group Message of the Day.
/buygroupslots <amount> Buy additional group member slots at $50,000 each, max is 90 slots.
/turfcolor <R G B> Set the RGB color of your group's turfs.
/turfcolorls <R G B> Change the LS turf color for your group.
/groupchatcolor <R G B> Change your group’s chat color (for all members). Can be modified by members in settings.
/grouphistory View the join, leave, and kick history from December 20, 2012 onwards.
/groupwhitelist Open an interface to permit groups or players entering your base.
/groupblacklist Add players to your group blacklist (by account or serial).
/groupbank Launch the group bank for donations and management by the Founder.
/groupnote <message> Send a note to all online members of your group.
/alliance Opens the alliance interface.
/basekick Kick invaders from bases outside LV.
/baseunkick Reverse the effects of /basekick.
/mgd Set a destination point for your group.
/mgd name Set a destination point for a specific member of your group.
/mgd remove Remove all destination waypoints set by your group.
/groupstats View your group’s statistics.
/groupcountd <seconds> <reason> Set a group countdown with a specified duration and reason.
/groupcountd 0 Cancel the group countdown.
/gpoll <time in seconds> <question> Start a group poll with a custom question and duration (15-1200 seconds).
/agp [yes/no] Vote yes or no in a group poll.
/gquiz Open a quiz panel for group members.
/agq <answer> Submit an answer for the group quiz.
/basesz Toggle the protected area inside the group base.
/allycountd <seconds> <reason> Set an alliance countdown with a specified duration and reason.
/l4veh Spawn base vehicles at airports.
/checkcustomskin <playername> <group> Check or remove a player's group skin.
/gradio Play radio for your group.
/groupreward Reward group members with money withdrawn from the group bank.
/groupscores Check the scores of your group members.
/groupwarninglevelreduction <amount> Increase or decrease the warning level reduction each day.
/gping Ping group members. You can disable being pinged from settings.
/addbaseped Add a stationary ped to your group base (Leader permissions required).
/delbaseped Remove an existing ped from the group base.
Command Description
/gapps <groupname> Apply for a group. You can also press F6, select Group List, and double-click the group to apply.
/gapps Manage group applications (permission required from the Founder).
