  • damage is doubled when roleplayers hurt each other in Roleplay mode

Fire damage equipment

Water Fire Extinguisher is available from /equip. It reduces Molotov fire damage by 75%.

Current Tec-9 damage

The Tec-9 currently deals 5 health per 2 bullets fired. Its /weaponstats row displays 15 damage, 2 accuracy, 100 clip ammo, 35 range, and 1 move speed.

Current weapon use rules

  • Only police can use tear gas. Other teams see Teargas can only be used by police.
  • Firing weapons is disabled for Unoccupied players.
  • Press R to reload when spare ammunition is available. This also works while you keep the aim key held down.
  • Tear gas cannot be thrown indoors.
  • Everyone can see the full Ammunation weapon list; weapon use restrictions still apply.
  • Desert Eagle cannot be used for drive by shooting.
  • Colt 45 supports dual wielding.
  • Tec-9 hits do not stop sprinting.
  • Molotov use does not give wanted points.
  • /dropweapon drops the currently selected Parachute, Spraycan, melee weapon, or other supported miscellaneous weapon.
  • Police officers can fire tear gas grenades while aiming an M4. Tear gas must be available, and each shot costs $1,000 instead of consuming a grenade.
  • Outside Las Venturas, weapon binds have a 300 millisecond switch delay after firing.

Switching weapons in the same slot

You need at least 1 ammo for the other weapon. Press the slot key once to switch. An SMG and the Deagle use different slots.

Shotguns Shotgun, Sawed-off, Combat Shotgun
SMGs Tec-9, Uzi, MP5
Assault rifles AK-47, M4
Rifles Rifle, Sniper
Heavy RPG, HS-RPG, Flamethrower, Minigun
Thrown Grenade, Teargas, Molotov, Satchel
Special Spraycan, Fire Extinguisher, Camera

Reload key

Press R with spare ammunition available. Change Reload Weapon Key under /sbinds > Weapon Binds.

Weapon slot keys

Enable Weapon Binds, under /settings > General > WEAPONS SETTINGS, enables weapon selection using the slot keys configured under Weapon Binds in the Binds tab. The keys are not restricted to number keys. Its options are Yes and No, with Yes as the default. It works with either the old or New HUD.

The weapon binds use separately named slots:

  • Slot: Fists: Fists, Brass Knuckles.
  • Slot: Melee: Golf Club, Nightstick, Knife, Baseball Bat, Shovel, Pool Cue, Katana, Chainsaw.
  • Slot: Melee 2: Flowers, Cane, Dildo, Vibrator.
  • Slot: Handguns: Colt 45, Silenced Colt 45, Desert Eagle.
  • Slot: SMGs: Uzi, Tec-9, MP5.
  • Slot: Shotgun: Shotgun, Sawnoff, SPAS.
  • Slot: Assault: AK-47, M4.
  • Slot: Rifle: Rifle, Sniper.
  • Slot: Heavy: RPG, HS-RPG, Flamethrower, Minigun.
  • Slot: Projectiles: Grenade, Teargas, Molotov, Satchel.
  • Slot: Detonator: Detonator.
  • Slot: Special 1: Spraycan, Fire Extinguisher, Camera.
  • Slot: Special 2: Parachute, Infrared and Nightvision Goggles.

Sharing a key is different from sharing a slot. For example, Slot: Handguns and Slot: SMGs are separate rows, but both default to 2. With Enable Weapon Binds set to Yes, slots assigned to the same key cycle when it is pressed. Check or change each slot's keys in /sbinds.

Use Ignore Certain Weapon Pickups under /settings > General > LV (LAS VENTURAS) to ignore selected weapons dropped when a player dies. Enter exact weapon names; names can be separated however you want. The default field is empty.

The listed names are AK-47, M4, Uzi, MP5, Tec-9, Deagle, Shotgun, Sawed-off, Combat Shotgun, Rifle, Grenade, Satchel, Rocket Launcher, and Rocket Launcher HS.

Vehicle shooting and burst mode

Press RMB while you are the driver or a passenger to toggle drive by mode. The bind is named Driveby Toggle Key, and its default is MOUSE2, the right mouse button. To check or change it, open /sbinds and find it under Vehicle Binds. Drivers cannot move the vehicle while firing.

Equip the M4, aim, and press your enter vehicle key to toggle burst mode on or off. Open /settings > General > WEAPONS SETTINGS and change M4 Burst Fire Delay. This is the time in milliseconds that the M4 does not fire during burst mode. The accepted range is 0 to 2000, and the default is 0.

Pump Action and sawn off modes

Shotgun: Pump Action is a Shotgun weapon mod in F9. It fires one powerful shot per reload. Shotgun: Default in the same list switches you back to the standard Shotgun.

Sawnoff: Single carries one sawn off, deals 50% more damage per shot than dual sawn off, and reloads faster. Sawnoff: Dual carries two; four shots deal the same damage as three single shots, with a longer reload.

Built in visual weapon mods

The Weapons tab lists 17 built in Server weapon mods. They are a fixed set that comes with the server, so their Size shows as Included and they are already downloaded and enabled. You can disable them if you would rather use the original GTA weapons.
