Group Base

Group Base and Group Interior are mapped group spaces in CIT used for group activity, spawning, upgrades, and shared group features.

Group base basics

Group bases and custom objects do not load in the Law Dimension. Selling access to base spawns is not allowed.

Groups can use a CITy Zone as a group base. Group base features can apply to groups that own a CITy Zone as their group base.

Base commands and limits

Command or rule Use
/addbasespawn <spawn name> Adds a base spawn for L3+ groups inside their group base or area.
/delbasespawn Deletes a base spawn.
/baseunkick <partial_name> Reverses /basekick for a matching player.
/baseunkick all Reverses all base kicks.
Group and squad spawn blacklist Groups and squads can blacklist one player from using their spawn.
L9 base repair and auto heal Does not work if the vehicle owner is wanted.

Group leaders can create multiple /mgd destination blips and remove a specific one with /mgd remove <number>.

Base rules and access

A group base or group interior is a custom group space handled through the Land Development system.

These spaces are used for things like:

  • Group activities
  • Group only interiors
  • Vehicle spawners
  • Health or armor pickups
  • Protected areas
  • Group info markers
  • Static vehicles
  • Frozen peds
  • Object changes and mapped upgrades

Land Development can also unlock:

  • Base improvements
  • Vehicles
  • Shaders
  • Graffiti
  • Other upgrades

How to get a Group Base or Group Interior

Group bases and group interiors are requested through the Land Development board.

Board link:

Before posting a request, your group must have:

  • A sub board that has existed for at least 1 month
  • Active posts on that sub board

Before posting, read the board rules there first.

What You Can Request

For an existing group base or interior, groups can request things like:

  • Spawners
  • Textures
  • Object changes
  • Missing features
  • Marker changes
  • Blip changes

If your group has a base or interior and is missing a feature, use the Missing Features Request format on the Land Development board.

Mapping Rules

General mapping rules include:

  • No resized objects
  • No world object removal if the group is under L6
  • Poor or floating maps are rejected
  • If denied, you can try again after 15 days
  • Copying another group's map can get the request denied and can lead to a blacklist
  • Protected or passworded map files are not allowed
  • You cannot remove houses that have enterable house markers

Size and Limit Rules

The maximum group base size is:

  • 100 x 100

Height limit:

  • 20z

Use:

  • /length

to help measure it.

Base object limits are:

  • Base requests allow 50 objects
  • Normal bases in San Fierro and rural areas are limited to 50
  • CITy bases can use up to 150

Community group limits:

  • L2 to L5 groups can have 1 interior marker and 1 gate

Official group limits:

  • L6 to L10 groups can have up to 3 interior markers and 2 gates

Files Needed for a Mapping Request

When submitting a mapping request, upload:

  • The full .map file
  • meta.xml
  • Any mapEditorScriptingExtension files

Base Features

A group base or group interior can include:

  • Custom car spawners
  • Health pickups
  • Armor pickups
  • Group only interiors
  • Custom object placement
  • Group skin selectors if applicable

Base Auto Heal

Base auto heal automatically heals members over time inside an owned base or interior.

Protected Area

To toggle the Protected Area in a group base:

  1. Press X
  1. Click Protected Area

Info Marker

A Group Info Marker shows important group places like a base or interior.

If your group is missing one, ask staff about it.

Groups at Level 2 or higher can buy an info marker logo for:

  • $15,000,000

Logo rules:

  • Must be a PNG
  • Must be no larger than 256x256

Frozen Peds

Groups with a base, hood, or CITy Zone can add up to:

  • 3 frozen peds

Commands:

  • /addbaseped
  • /delbaseped

To delete one, aim at it and use /delbaseped.

Static Vehicles

Groups can add up to:

  • 5 static vehicles

Commands:

  • /addstaticveh
  • /delstaticveh

To delete one, stand on the vehicle and use /delstaticveh.

Static vehicle cost rules are:

  • Vehicles under $500,000 cost $500,000
  • Vehicles above $5,000,000 cost $5,000,000
  • Vehicles in between cost their real price
  • Deleted static vehicles do not give refunds

Spawn Points and Spawn Vehicles

To remove a spawn point from your group base, use:

  • /delbasespawn

You must be inside your group base.

Groups can request up to:

  • 6 cars

Exception:

Civilian groups can request:

  • 2 helicopters

Official groups can request up to:

  • 12 vehicles

Each spawn vehicle costs:

  • $2,500,000

Official groups can use:

  • /l4veh

This works inside LS and SF airports to spawn base vehicles.

Interior access

If you are inside a group's interior as a visitor, you can hear that group's radio without being a member.

Other base details

  • Base spawns are for your group or squad and their friends or allies
  • Base spawns are not for sale
  • Group bases and some custom objects do not load in the Law Dimension

Extra base details

  • Group bases and group interiors are handled through Land Development.
  • Your group needs a sub board with at least 1 month of age and active posts before requesting one.
  • Mapping near AR, CE, or turf areas is restricted.
  • Protected or passworded map files are not allowed.
  • Group bases can include spawners, pickups, interiors, objects, and other upgrades.
  • Base auto heal works inside an owned base or interior.
  • Visitors inside a group's interior can hear that group's radio.
  • Group bases do not load in the Law Dimension.
