MTA cannot find required Windows fonts

Repair the specific missing font reported by MTA.

Steps

Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.

1. Read the missing font name

   MTA’s guide lists Tahoma, Tahoma Bold, Arial and Microsoft Sans Serif among the required Windows fonts. Use the name in your own error.

2. Restore that font from a trusted source

   Open the official MTA font guide and use its linked font download if it provides the specific missing font. Otherwise restore it through your legitimate Windows source or PC support.

   Careful: Do not install an unrelated font pack or overwrite every system font.

3. Install the font and restart MTA

   For a trusted font file, open it in Windows and use Install, then restart the game. If the same font remains missing, retain its exact filename when contacting support.
