MTA:SA fix

Clock manipulation detected

MTA shows this when the computer's date or time is wrong. Set them again. If the clock resets itself after every restart, the battery on the motherboard may be the cause.

The message

Clock manipulation detected!

Steps

Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.

  1. Set the date and time again

Open the Windows date and time settings and correct both. Then start MTA again.

  2. If the clock keeps going wrong

Only if the date or time is wrong again after a restart.

The FAQ says a wrong clock can come from wrong settings or from a faulty battery on the computer's motherboard. If the date resets every time the computer has been off, that battery is the thing to check.

  3. Very old AMD processor

Only if your computer has an AMD Athlon 64 X2.

The FAQ also names the AMD Athlon 64 X2 with old drivers as a cause, and says to update the processor drivers from AMD.
