MTA:SA fix
MTA will not start and shows no clear error
Start with the game installation, then follow any specific error that appears.
Steps
Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.
Open GTA single player once
Start GTA from the game folder MTA uses. If it also fails, use the GTA launch/settings guide; if it works, exit it before reopening MTA.
Update the complete MTA installation
Use the current official installer, then retry its installed launcher.
Follow a specific missing-file message
If a DLL, game file or code now appears, search that exact wording here. It selects the relevant repair more reliably than a generic launch failure.
No single repair is verified for every silent startup failure. If these checks do not expose a specific message, prepare a support report with the single player test result.
Still stuck? The Fix tool reads MTA's own log on your computer and points at the matching steps. Nothing is uploaded.
