Community Event Managers

Community Event Managers, usually called CEMs, are the players who host community events in CIT.

Overview

CEMs run public events for players and announce them in main chat when they start. Their events include:

  • FFA
  • Race
  • HnS
  • CDF
  • Carbomb

CEM events have uncapped rewards.

What CEMs Do

CEMs host and manage community events for players.

They are responsible for:

  • Starting public community events
  • Announcing events in main chat
  • Letting players warp in after the call
  • Running the event until it ends or players leave it

CEM Events

CEM events include:

  • FFA
  • Race
  • HnS
  • CDF
  • Carbomb

These events take place in:

  • Dimension 336

When the event ends, or if you leave it, you return to:

  • Dimension 0

Commands

Useful CEM-related commands include:

  • /cem
  • /requestevent
  • /eventwarp

What The Commands Do

/cem

`/cem` is a private chat for CEMs only.

/requestevent

Use `/requestevent` to open the event request GUI.

/eventwarp

Use `/eventwarp` after a CEM or staff member calls the event in chat.

How To Join a CEM Event

To join a CEM event:

  1. Watch main chat for the event call.
  1. Wait until a CEM or staff member calls it.
  1. Use `/eventwarp` to warp in.

How To Become a CEM

To apply as a CEM:

  1. Go to the forum.
  1. Open the `Event Management` board.
  1. Check if applications are open.
  1. Read the rules there.
  1. Apply.

Important Notes

  • CEM means Community Event Manager.
  • CEMs host community events for players.
  • CEM events are announced in main chat.
  • CEM events take place in Dimension 336.
  • You return to Dimension 0 when the event ends or when you leave.
  • `/eventwarp` is used after the event is called.
  • `/requestevent` opens the event request GUI.
  • `/cem` is not a public player command. It is private chat for CEMs only.
