Vehicle Glue

Vehicle Glue is the CIT system that lets players attach themselves to supported vehicles instead of sitting inside them.

It is mainly used for riding on the outside of vehicles, staying attached while the vehicle moves, and supporting actions like outside riding, helicopter carrying, and fishing from certain boats.

Overview

Vehicle Glue lets you:

attach yourself to a supported vehicle
detach yourself again
stay attached while the vehicle moves
hear vehicle music while glued
shoot if the vehicle allows it
fish if you are glued to a fishing boat
still see vehicle information like health and speed

How to use Vehicle Glue

To glue yourself to a vehicle:

stand on the vehicle
use /glue

To unglue:

use /glue again

What happens while you are glued

While glued:

you stay attached to the vehicle
you can hear vehicle music
you can shoot if the vehicle allows it
you can fish if you are glued to a fishing boat
you can still see vehicle information like health and speed

Locked vehicle access

If the vehicle is locked, you can only glue to it if you already have access to it.

Examples of access include:

being the owner's CITBook friend
being in the same group

Automatically Glue To Vehicles

There is a setting called:

Automatically Glue To Vehicles

This setting automatically glues you to supported vehicles.

Removing glued players

To remove glued players from a vehicle, use:

/eject *

This removes everyone from the vehicle, including glued players.

Helicopters and glued players

As the pilot, you can lower glued players from a helicopter by using:

/drop

This wires glued players slowly down to the ground.
