Custom Car Shaders
Custom Car Shaders are custom paint jobs for vehicles in CIT.
Vehicle shader command
Use /vehskin while driving the vehicle.
The shader panel shows group, squad, and personal vehicle shaders. Double click highlighted lines to toggle a shader on or off.
What shaders change
Shaders are custom paint jobs. They change how vehicles or skins look, not the model.
Shader use
A custom car shader changes how your vehicle looks.
Shaders stay linked to your account, so you can reapply them later.
Vehicle shaders are managed with:
/vehskin
Skin shaders are separate and use:
/customskin
How to get a vehicle shader
To get a vehicle shader:
- Buy it through Pilovali's payment page.
- Send a forum PM with:
- Your account name
- Your email address
- The image
- The car ID
Shader orders are usually applied within 24 hours.

How to apply a vehicle shader
To apply a vehicle shader, use:
/vehskin
This opens the vehicle shader panel.
From there, you can choose a shader from:
- Your account
- Your group
- Your squad

The /vehskin panel shows the vehicle shaders available on your account, group, or squad.

Shader images use:
.jpg.jpeg
Maximum image size:
1024x1024
Rules
These shader rules are listed:
- Shader transfers between groups, squads, accounts, or players are not allowed
- Large flag designs must be removed
- Small flag patches may be allowed
Testing Shaders
CIT modded vehicles
To test shaders on CIT modded vehicles:
- Download the mod files.
- Open the
TXD.
- Replace the textures.
- Save it.
- Add the folder to
C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.4\server\mods\deathmatch\resources.
- Start
Map Editor.
- Use
F8.
- Run
start VehMod.
- Spawn the vehicle and test it.
Normal vehicles
To test shaders on normal vehicles:
- Replace the
vehiclegrunge256texture inC:\Program Files (x86)\GTA San Andreas\models\generic\vehicle.txd.
- Test it in game.
Group Shaders
Groups can also unlock vehicle shader access through group progression.
