Bans Issued Board

Bans Issued Board is the forum board used for certain punishment appeals in CIT.

Overview

The `Bans Issued Board` is used for appealing these punishments:

  • normal bans
  • limit bans
  • fullmute bans
  • mutes over `3` days

If your punishment matches one of those types, this is the board you use instead of the normal punishment appeal board.

Use the `Bans Issued Board` if your punishment is:

  • a normal ban
  • a limit ban
  • a fullmute ban
  • a mute longer than `3` days

When not to use it

Do not use the `Bans Issued Board` for:

  • mutes under `3` days

For an in-game punishment appeal, include these lines:

  • `Your nick when you were punished`
  • `Groups & Squads you're involved in`
  • `When were you punished "Date/Time"`
  • `Account name`
  • `Who punished you`
  • `What was the reason (rule you broke)`
  • `Duration of the punishment`
  • `What language is used (if any)`
  • `Explain what happened`
  • `Why do you think it was unfair?`
  • `Chat Logs` from your local `MTA` logs or forum URLs

Appeal timing

Appeals are not answered immediately.

They need time to be reviewed properly.

Notes

  • `Bans Issued Board` is only for certain punishment types.
  • Long mutes also go there if they are over `3` days.
  • Short mutes do not go there.
  • Use the correct title and full appeal format when posting.
